Introduction to Evangelizing Through Bible Prophecy – Full

The Introduction to Evangelizing Through Bible Prophecy is a 28 week discipleship program focusing on the basics of bible prophecy and the sharing of Jesus with others. The maximum size of the group is 12 men.

The goals of the program are to:

1. Get a thorough understanding of bible prophecy with the emphasis on the second coming of Christ.
2. Learn and apply various ways to share Jesus with others.
3. Be held accountable to correct undesirable and sinful behaviors.
4. To grow spiritually by going through the program.

The workbook used is “The Basics of Bible Prophecy – Building a Firm Foundation Through God’s Prophetic Word”  written by Darryl Nunnelley and David R. Reagan. Current cost $10 per copy.

There are 24 chapters with questions at the end of each chapter. Here are the titles for some of the chapters:

1. The Importance of Bible Prophecy
2. The Varieties and Interpretation of Prophecy
3. End time Viewpoints
4. Old Testament Prophecy
5. New Testament Prophecy
6. The Church in Prophecy
7. The Rapture
8. The Tribulation and Antichrist
9. The Second Coming

Interspersed during the 28 weeks will be sessions on  learning approaches on how to share Jesus with others.

Homework preparation should take between one and two hours weekly.

The agenda for each meeting is as follows:

1. 6:00-6:30  Arrive, food, fellowship and sharing experiences of telling people about Jesus during the week
2. 6:30-7:30  Go over the lesson and questions for the week
3. 7:30 to 8:30  Breakdown into small fixed groups of 3 or 4 men for self reporting, encouragement, accountability and prayer

The program will include  a “Spiritual Gifts Assessment” and a before and after “Survey of Personal Spiritual Growth.”

Everyone will be involved in leading or being part of a team that includes:

1. Two co-leaders
2. Small group leaders
3. Food coordinator
4. Prayer Leader
5. Service projects
6. Social events
