The EFL Benevolence Fund
Before Christ, every one of us lived for ourselves. That old self was hung on the cross with Jesus Christ. As those who have been saved by grace and have been set free from the bondage of sin, we must change our perspective of life dramatically.
The truth, in the Kingdom of God, is that giving is better than receiving. Men are struggling viciously with a thin veil between them and their families demise. When we can utilize and steward the resources we are given by God to help another man, who represents a family, we receive joy, connection and more faith.
As those who are weak, the Joy of the Lord is our strength. This benevolence fund is a way for every Christian individual to receive an endless supply of that joy. That happens when you support a man who needs a temporary shelter during the storm of their life.
THE BANK OF THE LORD is designed to be a safety net for Christian men that have hit hardships in their lives. We want to be a bank that’s lending parameters are based on a man’s faith and character as much as it is his ability to repay his loan.

Homeless Ministries
At the heart of EFL we are here to support those who are homeless. Through various programs such as homeless packages, built by the men in our study and handed out by them to the homeless. This includes essentials such as antibiotic ointment, bandages, t-shirts, granola bars, socks, grooming essentials, lotion and other various necessities that many of us take for granted.
EFL Social Media
The EFL Social Media budget is intended to spread the message of Christ beyond the four walls of our Bible Study. We record podcasts weekly with the intention to create them more frequently. In addition, EFL posts content designed to help men get closer to the Lord.

Loans
The BANK OF THE LORD is designed for men that don’t want a gift/donation because they know this money comes from God. They intend and are committed to paying the amount back over a period of time that is decided by EFL and them. THE BANK OF THE LORD is a self-sustaining loan fund where people return the money that they borrow so that it will bless another someday. This creates a cyclical system of love, care and community between the brotherhood of FAITHFUL men of Christ.
Donations & Gifts
Gifts are intended for people that do not have the ability to repay a loan and have hit very difficult financial hardships. Some are homeless, can’t afford groceries or a place to lay their head at night. They need funds until they can get back on their feet.
Benevolence Fund Recipient
We understand that the financial aspect of a man’s life is only one.
We understand that the financial aspect of a man’s life is only one. So we not only seek to give these men money but seek to restore their souls and their minds to a Godly lifestyle and help them grow in their knowledge and experience of Christ in their lives. This BANK OF THE LORD is only one aspect of the many programs that we are looking to cultivate that will restore men to a life rooted in financial stewardship, familial stewardship, physical stewardship, marriage stewardship, and spiritual stewardship. All of this rooted within the context of the Bible and God’s word. Â
